BOSTON, MA — The ownership group of HD Engine are excited to announce that they entered a partnership with the BRICK series.
the BRICK series is a collection of premier events in some of the best cities in North America for players 5 -13 years of age. The HD Engine, and the other members of the BRICK series have forged an alliance based on their shared belief that exposure to high level play is a crucial component of the development of the youth hockey players. HD Engine’s owners have it written into the teams’ agreement that its goal is to expose your player to the highest level of Spring/Summer teams, along with the exposer to the 14 charter teams involved with The Brick Invitational.
“If you look at The Brick Invitational and the rate of crossover they have to Juniors, College and Pro in the last several years, the numbers are very high. It’s an important part of developing players,” Jaworski said.
“Winter hockey is different than then Spring/Summer, and we at HD Engine understand the need to form teams with the best players in the Central Plains to compete at this type of level.”
HD Engine has officially secured exclusive rights to the four major BRICK series tournaments and will be the only team representing the Central Plains area. Those four events are the Music City Invitational (Nashville, TN), Kings of Vegas (Las Vegas, NV), Pacific Rim Challenge (Vancouver, BC) and the SoCal Freeze Out (Los Angeles, CA). In addition to those four events HD Engine will also send teams to the other BRICK series events: Toronto Pro Hockey Bauer Shootout, the Boston Showdown and the Coast 2 Coast.
What this means is that HD Engine will be the only teams to represent the areas including Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kanas, Oklahoma, Texas. Birth years eligible for the 2018 season include: 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2012 & 2004 will compete in some tournaments, but they are not under the BRICK series umbrella.
“HD Engine is excited about the future of the players in the area. We want families to note we are not a BRICK charter, but a BRICK charter feeder. We will expose your player to the BRICK charter teams at these BRICK series tournaments,” Kaebel said.
“We’re starting from the ground up with this program,” said Toninato. “It will be exciting to build this program together with the same BRICK series philosophy.”
HD Engine will close out the remainder of it’s 2017 schedule at the Coast 2 Coast (Minneapolis, MN/08’s09’s), Pacific Rim Challenge (Vancouver, BC/09’s) and the Kings of Vegas (Las Vegas, NV/08’s).
The Engine will have tryout information available for the 2018 season, including the opportunity to get evaluated by one of our scouts.
HD Engine Hockey would like to thank all the BRICK series members.
